When  you think about Sweden, what is the first thing that comes to mind?  For me — it is the chocolate, however the brand new Swiss design Rinspeed is actually one car that is getting noticed a lot more than I think that it should.  Not only is it one of the compact cars that Europe seems to love but it — okay, it does look a little cool and a little chic bit how about the Fiat 500?

What’s the difference?  To me, I don’t see a whole lot of difference, however the Rinspeed is supposed to have the brand new lithium ion battery pack from LiTec and is supposed to actually run about 65mph, which for a completely electric car, that is pretty good.

I guess — if you want a decent little Swiss car that is going to get you around, the Rinspeed should work for you.

So, this is the Rinspeed UC? concept — and no, that question mark is not a typo. Yes, it throws me for a bit of a loop as well, but hey, the Swiss are full of surprises … sort of.

But anyway, obviously, Rinspeed is a Swiss automaker. The company plans to unveil what is classified as a whole mobility concept in March of 2010, at the annual motor show in Geneva.

That will, of course, be the Rinspeed UC? concept. “UC?” is actually an acronym, for the words “Urban Commuter.” However, it can be interpreted literally as well — as the phrase, “You see?” Pretty clever, no?

The concept is a two seater with an electric motor; in the future, it may be a series.

The small, speedy vehicle is only two and a half meters long. It is extremely lightweight and supposedly able to go as fast as one hundred and ten kilometers per hour.

Do you remember the Frankfurt Motor Show?  Well I do and I can tell you that this car is one that stood out to me.  It is the Lexus LF-Ch Concept and I have to say that this particular Lexus is not only going to be awesome, but it is also causing a lot of waves in the automakers blogs. 

For example, Autoblog.com just reported that the Lexus LF-Ch Concept is going to be shown again at the LA auto show as well as the Detroit one.

While this car is already accepted very well in Europe simply because of its size, the US is still on the fence about it looks like.  Personally, I would love to have a smaller call and I think that the Lexus LF-Ch Concept is definitely the best option for me!

It’s a funny thing. I used to think it would be great to get a Kia, because they are notoriously affordable and, you know, they aren’t ugly (which, sorry, is sometimes a very important consideration for a girl). My dreams were spoiled by a one time boyfriend (who, incidentally, knew jack about cars) who told me I ought not drive a car manufactured by the same people who made my microwave. Well, whatever, Matthew is fat now, still driving the same Cavalier he drove in high school, and Kia recently unveiled the Cadenza, which in my humble opinion is absolutely gorgeous.

This is the projection version of Kia’s VG concept, and it has only been improved since its unveiling at the Seoul motor show.

BMW – as you well know is one of those automakers that is known for their luxury cars as well as their cars being built – very built.  BMW is not taking any chances at all with their reputation regarding the 2010 BMW ActiveHybrid 7.  This is a car that is certainly going to be built to last and certainly going to have all of the BMW standards – as well as luxury.

The dynamics of the 2010 BMW ActiveHybrid 7 include a 449-hp and 479-lb-ft 4.4-liter twin turbo V8 heart it adds a 60-pound, 35-cell lithium-ion battery in the boot.  Not to mention that the battery itself does not take up all that much room – for it is in the trunk.

Also, the battery will boost up a maximum torque to 516 lb-ft when everything is really humming.  This particular huge car is very un-hybrid like, however, the 2010 BMW ActiveHybrid 7 is awesome!

In this word, there is a hell of a lot of talk about the 2010 Ford Mustang GT.  This is a car that is not only one of the fastest on the market, but people are constantly – and I do mean constantly putting it down.  They do not like how it looks, how it feels, how it overall performs.  You know what I think?  I think that the people who can afford the 2010 Ford Mustang GT – love it.

However, when you compare the 2010 Ford Mustang GT to any other car of its class, there might be a few things wrong with it.  However, that does not mean that you need to diss it all of the time or completely break it down right?  The 2010 Ford Mustang GT is a car that was designed to be fast, be pretty and certainly be one of the most stylish cars out there.

So haters?  Knock it off, the 2010 Ford Mustang GT is here to stay and I am very, very glad about that!

Matt Chambers started the Confederate Motor Company eighteen years ago, in 1991. His intention then was to make machines which used avant garde and holist processes to celebrate rebellion and the art of doing it right. The company has lived true to that, with such motorcycles as the Hellcat and the Wraith, which reminded a lot of people of a Terminator inspired contraption.

And now Confederate Motor Company has officially unleashed the power of the Confederate P120 Fighter.

The P120 Fighter features a 120 cubic inch motor — that is 1966 ccs, by the way — which offers up 160 horsepower as well as 145 feet per pounds of torque. Its frame is a lightweight aluminum which allows for nimble, easy handling and a great ride.

Then, too, there is the overall look at the bike. Talk about powerful, right? It looks like the bike from the future — and yes, folks, this is the real thing. No props here!

If there is one brand of car that I have noticed that has not come out with anything for years it is the Lamborghini brand.  While it is definitely a brand that is unique and different and does not have to come out with a new car all of the time – it is a celebration when it finally does unveil a brand new car … that is what happened here, the Lamborghini F22-inspired Reventon is going to be one of the most expensive cars of the year – topping off at about $1.6 billion dollars. 

The cool thing about the Lamborghini F22-inspired Reventon is actually that it is going to be a roadster that is losing its top – yes, finally … a Lamborghini that is going to be a convertible!  While this car is obviously not going to be for everyone – because who the heck can afford it?  It is a car for the filthy rich. 

Remember to check out the Lamborghini F22-inspired Reventon!  This car is going to rock all over the place!

There are many different brands of cars out there, you know that right?  GMC, Chrysler and Aston Martin are among just some of the top cars and while we are not talking about the two American-made cars, we are going to talk about Aston Martin.

This brand is by far one of the best brands out there … seriously.  After all, they did just come out with the Aston Martin V12 Vantage.  This car is serious.  It is one of the more classic looking cars and while the elegant design is fantastic, the horsepower is also very cool.

While I have never driven a Aston Martin V12 Vantage, I have to say that the people that I have talked to that have driven this particular car have said that it not only looks ever-so-stylish, but it is by far one of the smoothest drives in the world!

Infiniti is a car company that is making all sorts of different jaws drop and when the Infiniti Essence concept car came out, I have to say that it was commanding the room all over.  At the Geneva Motor Show that happened in March, this beautiful car was debuted and I have to say that the combination of gas and electric is something that every single man and woman in the world would not want to drive – after all, in the UK there are not a lot of green cars.

The cool thing about the Infiniti Essence is the overall feel of the car.  It is a sports car and it is certainly one handsome looking car.  The interior is just as important as the exterior and while this car has not hit production yet, it is something to think about.  After all, the Infiniti Essence has hit the press and the press wants to know when this beautiful car is going into production.
