In terms of under the hood performance, the standard D-4D 3.0-liter diesel engine has been given a horsepower raise for up to 188bhp. That’s an additional 11 hp from the standard one. Also, it now has additional 10 Nm of torque and now functions with 420 Nm and still it retains its original figures in terms of fuel-efficiency. To make the power plant pass the stricy Euro 5 regulations, a diesel particulate filter can be added.

The price for the 60^th Anniversary Land Cruiser Edition starts at £49,950 with its V8 counterpart carrying a £61,950 price tag. Both special edition models are out in the European market today.

Oh and let’s not forget that the three-door Land Cruiser is also available on the market once more and comes with manual gearbox and a LC3 level. Standard specs like Vehicle Stability Control, climate control, Bluetooth, fog lamps, a set of 17-inch alloy wheels and a 6-speaker audio are include in the model with a price tag of £30,395. We still don’t know if the 3-door Land Cruiser is part of Toyota’s celebration but one thing’s for sure, a lot of LC fans have waited long for it.

In this day and age, the times have changed and switched up and it is almost like I can feel spring coming.  It is right around the corner and I can almost taste it.  Did you know that in the car world, there are actually different colors that are meant for spring and that the dealers actually push during the spring months?

Do you remember the Frankfurt Motor Show?  Well I do and I can tell you that this car is one that stood out to me.  It is the Lexus LF-Ch Concept and I have to say that this particular Lexus is not only going to be awesome, but it is also causing a lot of waves in the automakers blogs. 

For example, Autoblog.com just reported that the Lexus LF-Ch Concept is going to be shown again at the LA auto show as well as the Detroit one.

While this car is already accepted very well in Europe simply because of its size, the US is still on the fence about it looks like.  Personally, I would love to have a smaller call and I think that the Lexus LF-Ch Concept is definitely the best option for me!

The finding is not yet conclusive but the genetic finding is starting on a very solid foundation. The group of experts tested 29 people. Seven of these subjects were known to have a gene variant and this predisposed them to poor performance from the kick off of the study. Those with gene variants also had difficulty learning and had a hard time remembering the track after resting from driving.

The methodology of the research subjected the 29 people to a computer simulation of a track which has difficult curves and corners to manage. The participants went around the course in 15 laps and took a 4-day break before driving the simulation again.

The researchers were surprised with how the gene variant may have influenced the performance of the driver subjects. A single factor may really be essential in a very motor and neurological skill like driving. The finding can be a breakthrough knowing that people can build on their innate skills and how proper driving behavior could be learned like a defensive driving guide…

The size of the sample is relatively small to make things conclusive as of now. The claim will have to be subjected through a bigger study before saying that it is really in your genes why you cannot park that car or just cannot smoothly control your ride.

Not only is the 2011 Buick Regal one of the best looking cars but I have to say that the drive – oh people, the drive of this particular car is going to be off the charts smooth and off the charts impossible to beat.  It will drive through anything like butter and look fantastic doing it.

You want luxury and class, the 2011 Buick Regal is certainly the car for you to do it in!

Isuzu VehiCROSS 1999 - The Japanese car manufacturer has undoubtedly a superior off road vehicle design but the goggle eyes and the corrugated doors made of steel are big architectural mishaps.

Pontiac Aztek 2001 – We are not sure if the General’s design team talked about coming up with this camel looking car. The looks are plain ugly and a big turn off from writing a check.

Buick Riviera 1995 – Consumers were turned off by the odd looking rounded design like it will warp through the black matter of space. It was better of to the deep where corals can grow on it.

Suzuki X-90 1996 – It looks like a toy. Not a great toy though. A 3 year old might mistaken it for a pullback car when seen in the garage.

Chevrolet Vega 1970 – This was a product of a great idea executed poorly.

Ford Pinto 1970 – The car manufacturer considered this a big hit. A lot of prayers were also said to avoid rear end collisions.

AMC Pacer 1976 – Let this car rest in peace and never ever have a spur of the moment inspiration to bring it back from the dead.

Yugo 1982 – Although some parts of the world still enjoy this car. Put under a microscope, you might be asking the proverbial why.
